3. Purpose

These terms of use govern access to and use of the Opale ID service (opale.id). By creating an account, you agree to these terms without reservation.

4. Registration and account

Registration with Opale ID requires a valid email address. The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and all activity under their account. A recovery email can be configured to secure account access.

5. Authentication and security

Opale ID offers multi-factor authentication (MFA) via TOTP. Users are encouraged to enable this feature to strengthen account security. Active sessions can be viewed and revoked at any time.

6. Connected services

Opale ID allows connecting third-party services via OAuth. Users can view, manage, and disconnect their connected services from their dashboard. Consents associated with each service are individually configurable.

7. Personal data and GDPR

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your data, as well as the right to object and limit processing. You can exercise these rights directly from your dashboard (export, deletion) or by contacting: math.corne@gmail.com.

8. Cookies

Opale ID uses a session cookie (oid_session) strictly necessary for the authentication service. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.

9. Public profile

Users can choose to make certain information publicly visible via their Opale ID profile. The choice of displayed information (connected services, personal links) is fully configurable.

10. Liability

Mathieu Corne strives to ensure the availability and security of the service but cannot be held responsible for temporary interruptions, data loss beyond his control, or the use made by third-party services of data shared via OAuth.

11. Changes to terms

Mathieu Corne reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Lyon.
